Director
Kenny Vance is a singer, songwriter, music historian and producer who was a founding member of Jay and the Americans. His career spans the universe of popular music and culture from the 1950s to today.In the 1970s and 80s, Vance’s career expanded to include producing, performing, supervising and writing music for iconic movies including Animal House, Eddie and the Cruisers, American Hot Wax, The Warriors, and Hairspray. He was musical director of Saturday Night Live for the 1980-1981 season where he introduced artists like Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Prince to a new generation.
In 1992, Vance formed his current group Kenny Vance and The Planotones, with whom he continues to perform, record and tour. Vance is in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame as part of Jay & the Americans as well as, individually, in the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Bronwyn Berry is an award-winning documentary producer and director, leading the development and production of unscripted content through her company, Ruby Rocket. Recent credits include After the Bite (HBO), Heart & Soul (PBS) and Love, Gilda (CNN Films). Her international showrunner credits include docu-series Durban Beach Rescue (Travel Channel), Sesame Street South Africa and Wonderama (Discovery). Bronwyn has garnered a Peabody Award and 2 Emmy nominations. She is a member of the Producers’ Guild (PGA) and the Television Academy.

Liz Nickles is a writer and consultant in branding, advertising, marketing and author of numerous articles and 20 books, including bestselling fiction and award-winning nonfiction. As Executive Creative Director at four major ad agencies, her work has won CLIO, ADDY and EFFIE awards. As a screenplay writer, she is an Emeritus member of the Writers’ Guild of America, West.

Award-winning film editor Mona Davis is known for her artistry in documentary filmmaking. Her skillful editing highlights a compassionate feeling for character, complex and surprising structures, humor, musicality, and a special gift for verité storytelling. As a consultant, she assists directors and other editors with all aspects of creative documentary editing. Mona’s films have won virtually every prize in the field, including 3 Oscar nominations; 4 Emmy nominations plus an Emmy for Best Editing and the Sundance Grand Jury Prize.
